These two will forever be the clients I laughed the hardest with at our first meeting. They are a seriously hysterical and fun couple. We had to reschedule our initial session due to rain and I am so thrilled we chose last Friday...it was gorgeous and about 60 degrees at 9am. Perfection! These two were fabulous to photograph and interacted so sweetly together. Always laughing and smiling. This is the best perk of my job...seeing first hand how people love one another.

Soulard is always an interesting place but on this particular morning, we saw a lot of funny stuff. My favorites were a couple getting into a serious fight in front of the laundromat and making a huge scene right as we walked by and feeling a man following us and finally stopping me to ask if I could take his photos. He stopped us for about 5 minutes (which felt like an hour) to write down his name, number, the words "pictures" and "thank you." Like I said, always interesting in Soulard.

Maggie + Neil | Engaged

I love a unique engagement session! Maggie proclaimed to me how she really wanted a country, farm engagement session and when she offered up Neil's family farm, I was a little more than excited. I always tell my couples that it's not the location but the people that make the photos. In this case, both were amazing so I was in photo heaven!

So happy to share this beautiful farm engagement session!

Elsa is One! | Children

Mary (aka Elsa's Mommy) is one of those people that I feel like I've known forever, but I don't really know. I met her as we were both planning weddings within a few months of one another and then again kept up with each other through the blog world. I can tell you she is just as sweet and funny as she is in text. I officially met her when I took Miss Elsa's newborn photos. Having clients contact me to photograph them over and over again is the best compliment in the world! I adore seeing them and wish it were more often. Conversation is so easy and I know Tommy and Jason would have some great beer conversation!
